'SARODIYA ANANDADHARA' has proudly entered its twelfth year. This year, our goal was to bring joy to 1,200 underprivileged individuals by providing them with new clothing during Durga Puja. Thanks to the generosity and support of our community, we have successfully exceeded this target, distributing new clothes to a total of 1,260 people, including many orphaned children, street children, and residents of old age homes. We are delighted to have spread smiles not only within Kolkata but also in several neighboring districts.

In just one month of preparation, this initiative unfolded over nearly two months at 24 different locations, all made possible by the selfless dedication of our 'SARODIYA' members. Remarkably, we achieved this milestone without the backing of any multinational corporation or commercial entity; it was solely through the heartfelt donations and collective efforts of our members. We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who supported 'SARODIYA' and shared in this joy, helping us to brighten the lives of those in need.

While 'Anandadhara' traditionally kicks off before Durga Puja, our commitment to helping the underprivileged continues throughout the year. Our mission is to stand by those who need it most, providing them with new clothing, winter essentials, educational materials, and daily necessities, all aimed at bringing smiles to faces that often go without joy.

'শারদীয়া'র আনন্দধারা' এবার দ্বাদশতম বর্ষে পদার্পন করেছিল । লক্ষ্য ছিল এই দুর্গাপূজায় ১২০০জন পিছিয়ে পড়া মানুষের হাতে নতুন পোশাক তুলে দিয়ে তাদের মুখে হাসি ফোটানো । সকলের সহযোগিতায় এই লক্ষ্যপূরণে আবারও সফল আমরা, 'শারদীয়া' । বহু অনাথ শিশু, পথশিশু ও দুঃস্থ শিশু এবং বৃদ্ধাশ্রমের আবাসিকগণ সহ সর্বমোট ১২৬০ জন মানুষের হাতে নতুন পোশাক তুলে দিতে সক্ষম হয়েছে 'শারদীয়া' । শুধুমাত্র কলকাতা নয়, কলকাতার গন্ডি ছাড়িয়ে এবার অনেকগুলি পার্শ্ববর্তী জেলা অঞ্চলের মানুষদের মুখেও হাসি ফোটাতে পেরেছি আমরা । মাত্র একমাসের প্রস্তুতিতে, প্রায় দুমাস ব্যাপী ২৪ টি ভিন্ন ভিন্ন স্থানে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে এই কর্মযজ্ঞ । 'শারদীয়া'-র সদস্যগণের নিঃস্বার্থ ও নিরলস প্রয়াসে সুসম্পন্ন 'শারদীয়া'-র আনন্দধারা । কোনো বহুজাতিক প্রতিষ্ঠান বা কোনো বাণিজ্যিক সংস্থার সাহায্য ছাড়াই, শুধুমাত্র সদস্যদের অনুদান ও তাদের সংগৃহিত অর্থ সংগ্রহে এই সাফল্য । যাঁরা 'শারদীয়া'-র উপর আস্থা রেখে আমাদের এই প্রচেষ্টার পাশে এসে দাঁড়িয়েছেন এবং পিছিয়ে পড়া মানুষগুলোর সাথে আনন্দ ভাগ করে দ্বিগুণ আনন্দে মেতে উঠলেন, তাঁদের সকলকে 'শারদীয়া'-র আন্তরিক অভিবাদন ও কুর্নিশ । আশা রাখি ভবিষ্যতেও আপনারা এভাবেই 'শারদীয়া'-র পাশে থাকবেন ।

মূলত দুর্গাপুজোর প্রাক্কালে আনন্দধারা শুরু হলেও, এটির ধারাবাহিকতা আমরা বজায় রাখি সারাবছর ধরেই । যার মূল উদ্দেশ্য যথাসম্ভব এই পিছিয়ে পড়া মানুষগুলোর পাশে দাঁড়িয়ে তাদের হাতে নতুন পোশাক, শীতবস্ত্র, পড়াশোনার সামগ্রি, দৈনন্দিন সামগ্রি তুলে দেওয়া এবং বহু আনন্দ থেকে বঞ্চিত এদের মুখে হাসি ফোটানো । তাই আগামী দিনগুলিতেও চলবে 'শারদীয়ার আনন্দধারা' । আর এই কর্মযজ্ঞে প্রয়োজন, বিগত দিনগুলির মতোই আপনাদের সাধু-সান্নিধ্য । তাই আপনাদের সকলের কাছে আবেদন যথাসাধ্য সাহায্যের হাত বাড়িয়ে পাশে দাঁড়াবেন আমাদের।

How it Works

Leading up to Durga Puja, we collect donations from generous individuals and sponsors who share our commitment to making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. These contributions enable us to purchase new clothes, including outfits for children and sarees for elderly women, ensuring that they have something special to wear during the festive season.

On the day of "Sarodiya Anandadhara - Durga Puja Special," our team distributes the new clothes to various locations across the community, including orphanages, shelters for street children, and old age homes.
