Event Description

"Friends, winter has started heralding and in our city. Innumerable people have taken shelter on the pavements along the main road. Such dwellings can be seen on the right-hand side pavement on the way to Chetla from Rashbehari. It’s beside the Gurudwara in front of DESHAPRAN SASMAL Park. There are at least 42 children along with their families. We wish to stand by these people, friends.

In this winter we wish to gift them winter garments and other winter necessities at 2.00 pm on 25th December, 2014 (Thursday). We have already collected new and old clothes, blankets, bed sheets, and sweaters in our wardrobes which are stored but are of no use to us from our Sarodiya family for the last two months (through FaceBook). 

We request all our friends to come forward and join us on this day.

We understand that this is a very small effort, but still, we are stepping forward. Like the glow of fireflies, we will light lamps of our dreams, and these lamps will become the bacon……
